About the Lecture:
Our bodies are constantly responding to our environment – often in ways we are not even aware of. Every day, the body gives us signals about how we are really doing – but these signs often go unnoticed. By understanding these hidden influences, we can consciously support our mental and physical health.
The aim of this lecture is to give participants the knowledge and practical skills to consciously adjust their daily environment. Through the lens of psychology, we will learn how to create conditions where the body can recover and function more effectively.
What you will gain from this lecture:
- A better understanding of how psychological and environmental factors shape your body and well-being in everyday life
- Skills to notice hidden signals from your body and practical techniques to increase body awareness
- Insights into how to consciously adapt your daily environment – whether it’s your workspace, routines, or interactions – to better support mental and physical well-being
- Tools to manage stress more effectively, and to recognise when your body needs a break, movement, or attention
- A stronger connection with yourself and the ability to notice subtle bodily signals (such as tension, fatigue, or anxiety) before they accumulate – all through the perspective of psychology and conscious presence
